The Linea is an utterly gorgeous looking piece of metal, no 2 ways about it. Often I wonder if the laws of genetics also apply to cars. I have never found out the reason why anything and everything penned by those Italians looks so achingly beautiful. The only rule I can observe is that of the inheritance of conventional good looks. After gawking at the Linea’s perfect form from every angle, I pull open the door and the sense of occasion is somewhat lost. The interiors feel like a bit of a letdown, but only because the exteriors lead you into expecting much more from the car.

The front face of the sedan comes alive with human-eye shaped dual parabola headlamps, classic front and lower radiator grille with black slats and stylish fog lamp clusters. The Emotion and Emotion Pack of Fiat Linea consists of chrome door handles, body colour rear view mirrors, silver painted radiator grille and chrome body side molding. Alloy wheels with multiple spokes give it more appeal. The rear side of the Fiat Linea gets the same sporty design job as the front one. It has got large tail lamps cluster, single chrome tipped exhaust system and a compact antenna.

As for the wheels, the Fiat Linea is available with both option - steel wheel and alloy wheel. Its 15" alloy wheels give it a more stylish look. The Fiat Linea comes with the puncture resistant tubeless tyres which offer stress-free riding even when off-road driving. The tyre sizes of Fiat Linea are 195/60 R15. The multi-spoke alloy wheels can be availed with Emotion and Emotion Pack while the steel wheel covers are standard with the basic Active and Dynamic variants.
The New Fiat Linea T Jet features wider wheel and fatter tyres that is 205/55 R 16, it helps to get better grip on road and increases driveability. The vehicle now comes with higher ground clearance that is 170mm. Whereas the basic T Jet variant comes with the same old 15 inch steel wheels and tyre specification.
Overall Evaluation:
The Linea epitomises what a Fiat is and should be to us. It's good looking, has good ride quality, packs in brilliant handling, is built like a rock and has a decently appointed interior with all the frills expected in the segment with the Emotion Pack Plus. Add to this equation a frugal pair of engines, and now better sales and service - there's little wonder why we've been seeing so many Lineas (and Puntos) on the road. This does seem to be Fiat's comeback car and this time around, with improved ownership experiences, there's little stopping FIAL from becoming a household name once again.
If you're in the market for a stylish, contemporary sedan which looks more expensive than it costs (especially with the alloys and chrome bits on the top-end variants) with a frugal engine, a perfect blend of ride and handling, and most importantly, if you're passionate about cars, look no further than the Linea. There's still some soul about Italian cars that makes them stand out from the competition.

The larger diameter front disc brakes of Fiat Linea at its front wheel enables to de-accelerate the car more instantly. Fiat Linea is equipped with ABS (Anti lock Brake System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) that enhances the safety in case of instant braking at slippery road. The Fiat Linea is loaded with dynamic suspension system that eats up bumps and potholes thus making your ride enjoyable and memorable for the right reasons.
