Western Railway Recruitment 2014 – Cultural Quota Posts

Western Railway invites applications for the recruitment of Harmonium, Kathak Players. Eligible candidates can apply on or before 28-02-2014. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below….

1. Harmonium Player: 01 Post
2. Kathak Player: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for UR, 18 to 33 years for OBC and 18 to 35 years for SC/ ST as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate, Degree/ Diploma/ certificate from govt recognized institute.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination, performance test/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to take Demand Draft (DD)/ Indian Postal Order of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Chief Cashier, Western Railway, Churchgate payable at Mumbai and no fee for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EXS/ PH/ Women/ backward classes.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format along with copies of certificates, cultural qualification, caste certificate, etc, attested by Gazetted officer, 2 recent pass port size photos with their names written on the back, 2 self addressed envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp and send through ordinary post by superscribing the envelope as “Application for the recruitment against cultural quata & employment notice no WR/ HQ/ R&T/ cultural/ 2/ 2013-14″ to Asst Personnel Officer (Recruitment & Trainiong), Western Railway, HQ Office, IIIrd flour, Old Building, Churchgate, Mumbai -400020, Maharastra on or before 28-02-2014.
